Funny Faces!

Eli has been full of these funny faces lately! I can't ever catch him with the camera...he always stops as soon as it is pulled out. Today I was determined to snap a few of his many faces that make us laugh!

He's a growing boy!

It has been an amazing two weeks with Eli. He is all over the place trying to see and do everything. I have tried to capture some on tape. He wants to walk so bad he can't stand it. He grabbed on to my hands and was standing in the kitchen when Puff caught his attention and all of the sudden he just took off one foot in front of the other walking across the kitchen floor. He was screeming the whole time....like look at me!!! Of course he couldn't have done it without holding on to me, but I was shocked!! He is scooting around trying to crawl, but still struggling to go forward. He pushes and then ends up going backwards. Then he ends up looking around like what in the world is going on how did I get here. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from this past week. Below he is enjoying a biter biscuit. We have to eat these and keep our eyes on him because he loves to share it with Puff and of course she thinks that is awesome!The weather has been so beautiful, so we have put up shop out on the deck almost everyday this week. Eli loves being outside and so do I!!! Here he is with his best buddy Puff. Right before this picture was taken Puff was chasing a lizard and Eli was laughing so hard. He thinks she is hilarious and belly laughs at her all the time.

Eli has become quite the gardener with me. He loves going out in the yard and checking on things. I thought this was a cute picture of him holding on to the watering handle. The garden is coming along and we can't wait to start getting yummy vegtables!

Melanie's Vist

Melanie and Eli hanging out on the deck! It was wonderful to spend some much needed Melanie time! It was definitly hard to see her leave yesterday. We did some of the regular old hangin' out things and she helped me to get my plants and vegtables organized for the deck and garden....which is of course my favorite thing to do.

Florida Family Visit!

This beach stuff is such hard stuff! Here's Eli sacked out on Mama. This was the prettiest day at the beach in my life. Eric and I started our day walking over to the beach about 9:00. There were absolutely no waves and it was dreamy. We walked and searched for sea glass and shells. Then later Katherine and Eli joined us and it was wonderful!

Here we are at The Japaneese Gardens. It was beautiful!One of our highlights that we love is sitting out on the porch visiting. Here are Daddy and Eli hanging out on the roof watching the surfers rippin' up the waves!
