Last year our great friends Tonya and Chris invited us along on their family tradition of going to the mountains to cut their Christmas tree down. We had so much fun last year that we were not about to miss out this year. One of my favorite vacations of the year! This year Eli really had a blast! He adores Sam and Kaley!

This tree farm was awesome! We not only got great deals on our gorgeous trees, they offered hay rides, horse ride for the kids, and feeding the cows.

Trains trains trains! Tonya and Chris' friends Michelle and Jared came this year too. Eli and their son Jaden both love trains so they had a good time together!

We went sledding! We had the time of our lives! Our cabin was on Beech Mountain, so right around the corner they had a free section to sled. Eli thought it was so much fun! Well that is until he and Eric wrecked...but then he just wanted to sled with Mommy.
I could have sled for hours. Eli would giggle all the way down. He is so much fun!
