Eli loves to help with chores. He drug his stool into the laundry room

so he could reach it. He is becoming very independent.

Stretching before Dad goes running...Eli gets really serious and loves to mimic him.

Went to Pinehurst to visit Cousin Carolyn, Kelly, Shannon, Ed, and Eddie. Here the boys after a delicious lunch. Hard to believe how BIG Jake looks here.

Perfect afternoon...

This day was just perfect! We ate lunch at Dockside and then walked around looking out at the water and the boats. I can't imagine living anywhere else! Eli had a blast and so did Eric and I!

I love taking pictures and several turned out so good...just wish we would remember to get some of me and the little guy.

Here is Eli with "Phia" as he says! Sophia was visiting from China and Eli became fast friends with her.

Eli likes to help feed the animals. This day he missed the bowl...so he thought he could just lay down and shove it under the pantry door ...until I came around the corner.

We like to make forts...here he is setting up under the fern laying in a huge puddle of water. But he and his trucks didn't mind.

He is loving his table and chairs that Grandma and Granddaddy gave him. Coloring and painting all the time!

I think it is so cool the things he comes up with to entertain himself. He will drag the chair over to the window and then go to town playing.

Eli's 2nd Birthday!!!

It is so hard to believe that Eli is 2! Time is just flying by so fast...but then again they do say time time flies when you are having fun! And that we are!

I have gone back and forth on train table or no train table? Eli loves trains, cars, and trucks so much that I started searching and thought if I found what I wanted then maybe I would get one. I loved this table. It looked pretty rough, but I saw it's potential...brought it home sanded it and painted it!

On his worm that Jake, Sam, Aunnie, and BB got him! He loves it! See him stuffing his little car in his pocket. He has just realized lately that he can stick stuff in his pockets and it is so funny. Once he does it...he looks so proud.

This is so blurry, but I had to put it in because it was so cute. Taylor doesn't know if she likes Eric and it kills him. Most kids love him...so he finally got her to hug him and I scrambled for the camera....that's why it is fuzzy.

I love this one. Taylor, Landon, and Eli had so much fun together. He was sad to see them go!

Okay...so there were a few cupcakes left over and the next day he woke up from nap asking for one...couldn't resist! He was obviously enjoying this! He is saying "good!"
